The Game
Keith Yandle will move into sole possession of the sixth-longest consecutive games played streak in NHL history when the Florida Panthers host the Anaheim Ducks at BB&T Center on Wednesday.
The defenseman, who will play his 738th straight game, tied Jay Bouwmeester for sixth place in a 4-3 victory against the New Jersey Devils on Monday in the second of an eight-game homestand. Yandle last missed a game March 22, 2009 when he was with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Anaheim, which will play the third of a five-game road trip, is coming off a 3-1 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
Players to watch
Center Ryan Getzlaf has five points (two goals, three assists) in his past three games and leads the Ducks with 17 points.
Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau has 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in his past 12 games.
