Minnesota has scored two goals or fewer in three of the past four games.
Ottawa begins a four-game road trip and is 2-1-0 in the past three games.
The Senators have scored 75 goals, tied with the Tampa Bay Lightning for most in the NHL but have allowed at least four goals in five of their past six games.

They said it
"Our focus is very clear for tonight. We know (Minnesota is) a very balanced team. Whether it's offensively or defensively, they've got a lot of experience. They've got big bodies that hold on to the puck, they've got good goaltending. You look at them, I don't see any flaws in their game." -- Senators coach Guy Boucher
"(Ottawa is) playing really good hockey. They've got a really good offensive team, they've got a lot of speed, and they go. If you're not on top of your game defensively, they'll score four on you." -- Wild coach Bruce Boudreau on Ottawa
