The Islanders and Rangers face off at Webster Bank Arena, home of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, in preseason action on Friday night (7:30 p.m., MSG+).
The Islanders are 2-0-2 in preseason play, halving a pair of split-squad games on Wednesday night vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. This is the second and final time the Islanders and Rangers will meet this preseason, with the Rangers taking a 1-0 win in OT on Monday night. 
Andrew Ladd, Brock Nelson, Josh Bailey and Nikolay Kulemin bring some veteran experience to Friday's lineup, while Josh Ho-Sang and Anthony Beauvillier will also be making the trip to Connecticut. 
Defenseman Devon Toews returns to his natural position on Friday after playing Wednesday's game in Brooklyn at left wing. Ryan Pulock will also play in Wednesday's contest.
Jaroslav Halak and Thomas Greiss are both on Friday's roster. Halak stopped all 22 shots he faced in two periods against the Rangers on Monday night, while Greiss stopped 17-of-18 against the Flyers on Wednesday in Brooklyn.
Jimmy Vesey, Kevin Hayes and Brady Skjei are the recognizable Rangers heading up to Bridgeport. Ondrej Pavelec, who stopped all 10 Islanders shots in the two periods he played on Monday, is expected to start for the Rangers.
