The Philadelphia Flyers will again take on the Arizona Coyotes in the second half of a home-and-home series.

Returning home from a four game west coast road trip, the Philadelphia Flyers will take on the Arizona Coyotes for the second straight time after they defeated them 5-2 on Monday night.
The Flyers managed to rack up five goals on one of the best defensive teams in hockey in Arizona, something the Coyotes hadn’t allowed in five games prior to Monday.
The Coyotes will be without goaltender Antti Raanta in this game, who was placed on Injured Reserve with a lower-body injury on Wednesday. It’s likely the Flyers will see Darcy Kuemper in-net again with Raanta out.
Oskar Lindblom and Nolan Patrick will both look to extend their four game pointstreaks to five against Arizona. Lindblom has six points (2 Goals, 4 Assists) in those four games and is starting to emerge as a real two-way threat for the Flyers this season. Patrick also has six points in his last four games. The Flyers have counted on their production during this past west coast road trip, and will need it again to defeat a sound defensive team in Arizona.
Calvin Pickard will receive his third straight start for the Flyers as Brian Elliott still isn’t healthy enough to start. He will dress and backup Pickard, though, which is good news for Philadelphia. Pickard is coming off a very good game and his best start of the season on Monday, where he made 34 saves on 36 shots. Having a reliable backup would benefit the Flyers if Pickard can keep mimicking that performance, especially with the often injured Michal Neuvirth constantly being a question mark.
